City of Saint Paul

This program is a partnership between the community organization Friends of Highland Arts, the Highland Park business FrameWorks Gallery and the Office of Saint Paul City Councilmember Chris Tolbert.  The artwork in Saint Paul City Councilmember Chris Tolbert’s office will be rotated every four months, with each exhibition reflecting the creativity and talents of Ward 3 artists, residents, students and businesses.

WARD 3 covers the southwest corner of the city, extending from the West End to Fort Snelling. The ward includes the neighborhoods of Highland Park, including Shepherd-Davern, and most of Macalester-Groveland. It is the home to Macalester College and the College of Saint Catherine. Ward 3 has many local businesses and restaurants along Grand Avenue, St. Clair Avenue, Randolph Avenue, Ford Parkway and West 7th Street.

Established in 2015, FRIENDS OF HIGHLAND ARTS (FHA) is a community driven nonprofit with a mission to build community through celebrating and supporting ART, in all its forms, in and around Highland Park.  Other FHA programs are free and open to the community, and include the annual Spring Highland Arts Showcase, the summer Pool House Rock concerts, and Fall  Highland Comedy Improv events.  All members are volunteers.  www/friendsofha.org
